I've been doing some searches on Accutane and notice that some pharmacy's are selling generic accutane for less than just accutane itself. Why is that? Does it mean that the generic is less effective than the other?

What are some home remedies to relieve asthma symptoms?

Posted by kmjamal | Diseases & Conditions | Monday 29 June 2009 3:56 pm

I have recently been diagnosed with asthma. Since I am very susceptible to the side affects of my inhaler, are there any home remedies in case it gets a little hard to breathe? I'm just talking about when my breathing is a little bit below normal capacity.
I'm looking for nonmedicated solutions, and not solutions for actual attacks, but when it feels mildly uncomfortable. I have a daily inhaler and a rescue inhaler in case of a serious attack.

What is the best preventive medicine cats under 10 lbs?

My kitten is currently on Revolution but I have noticed her scooting on the ground, which is a sign of parasites. I have an appointment for her at my vet to check if she has parasites. Anyway, I did not realize Revolution did not cover all worms. What medicine or combination of medicines, like Advantage Multi for cats, is best to prevent heartworms, ring worms, hook worms, other worms, fleas, tickes, and ear mites?

Horse Dewormer Schedule?

Posted by kmjamal | Diseases & Conditions | Monday 29 June 2009 2:09 pm

Hey, I was wondering if I could get some help with a deworming schedule. I've tried reading about it online but most of it doesnt make sense or seems conflicting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I dewormed Jazz today with Zimecterin® GOLD which contains 1.55% Ivermectin and 7.75% praziquantel. I was planning on deworming him next with Panacur® Paste 10% which contains the anthelmintic and 10% fenbendazole. Is that ok? Do I need to go to something with Pyrantel Pamoate (STRONGID® Paste) or (Oxibendazole) ANTHELCIDE® EQ? Or can I go back to the Zimecterin Gold? How dependent are dewormers on the time of year? It seems like Zimecterin Gold is a once a year for bots and tapeworms then fill the rest of the year with the other dewormers. Is that right? When is the next time I can safely deworm. I couldn't find anywhere that said whether the Zimecterin Gold was a 8-10 or 10-12 week dewormer.

A vet recommended Zimecterin Gold origionally which is why I got that in the first place. Now I'm not so sure what to do or if that was right?

Thanks
Katie
That doesn't really work though because horses get there feet done about every 4-6 weeks. Dewormers, depending on the brand and active ingredient, can cover 4-6 weeks, 6-8 weeks, 8-10 weeks, or 10-12 weeks.

When is the earliest asthma can be diagnosed in a baby?

Posted by kmjamal | Diseases & Conditions | Monday 29 June 2009 9:56 am

My baby is almost 6 months old. She's on a neb every 4-6 hours because of bronchitis, but her doctor said it could be an early sign of asthma. Now she went to the doctor today for fever and a cough and they said it was her air ways and "asthma like symptoms". But they told me they can't diagnose her yet.
