How is Diabetes easier to control nowadays and what was a "normal" reading 25 years ago?

I’ve heard a ton of people say this. Is is because of insulins getting better? Please elaborate. Also, what was a normal, common blood sugar range around 25 years ago? I know it varies from person to person but I keep hearing how much easier diabetes is to control nowadays (and I can tell you it is! ) and I was just wondering how bad it really was years ago. Thanks for reading!

how long before anti fungal cream starts to work?

Posted by kmjamal | Alternative Medicines | Sunday 31 October 2010 10:17 pm

my doctor prescribed me anti fungal cream for what she diagnosed as a form of yeast infection. I have been using it for 4 days and my symptoms are not getting better yet. It might be my imagination, but it even seems that the itch is getting worse.

Has anyone been prescribed an anti fungal cream for yeast infection and/or jock itch, and if so, how long did it take for you to see a noticeable difference in your symptoms?

Might have accidentally taken too many anti-convulsants?

Posted by kmjamal | Diseases & Conditions | Sunday 31 October 2010 9:37 pm

I’ve got epilepsy and have to take Keppra (levetiracetam) twice a day. I normally take two 250 mg tablets in the morning and two 250 mg tablets in the evening, but I think that, tonight, I might have accidently taken the evening dose twice.
Does anyone know if this is likely to be serious, or won’t it matter?

What can I do to aid my asthma symptoms?

Posted by kmjamal | Diseases & Conditions | Sunday 31 October 2010 9:10 pm

I had to stay over at my boyfriend’s house for a few days. I’m an asthma patient, but rarely get symptoms so I forgot my inhaler and I have no way to reach it. I’ve heard there are remedies I could do at home, can anyone tell me the most effective? Please and thank you!
