If I take antibiotics while not having an infection will I become resistant to antibiotics?

My doctor prescribed me with antibiotics but now im not sure i have an infection. If I take antibiotics without having an infection will I develop bacteria thats resistant to antibiotics?

A doctor a dentist and a pharmacist told me they prescribe valtrex/anti viral for canker sores. Are they mistaking these for cold sores or do they know something we don’t

I’ve got epilepsy and have to take Keppra (levetiracetam) twice a day. I normally take two 250 mg tablets in the morning and two 250 mg tablets in the evening, but I think that, tonight, I might have accidently taken the evening dose twice.
Does anyone know if this is likely to be serious, or won’t it matter?

I have a ten month old son who has been diagnosed with asthma. He is currently on pulmicort, singulair, and xopenox. What medicine has your child been on and did it help?
My son has been diagnosed by a pediatric pulmologist as well as a pediatric allergist. Without the inhaled steriods, he can not crawl around or play with other children like most children can. Steriods are rough on the system, but I would rather have a breathing child then worry to much about the medicine.

I’ve heard a ton of people say this. Is is because of insulins getting better? Please elaborate. Also, what was a normal, common blood sugar range around 25 years ago? I know it varies from person to person but I keep hearing how much easier diabetes is to control nowadays (and I can tell you it is! ) and I was just wondering how bad it really was years ago. What medicine is take during pregnancy to mature a baby's lungs?

I am doing a biology research project on something that could have caused my life-long asthma.
Before my birth in 1992, my mother had to take some sort of medicine to mature my lungs very quickly. I would not have lived if I had come 3 months early without the medicines she was taking.
Now she can’t remember the medicine she took, but I’m looking for some possible medicines to base my research from. Any help?
