How do i keep my pregnancy secret on Christmas day?

Posted by kmjamal | Women's Health | Tuesday 22 December 2009 12:19 am

I’m going to my Aunts on Christmas day and all the family will be there, i will be 10 weeks pregnant and the only other person that knows is my husband.

I’m not wanting to tell anyone about my pregnancy until after my first scan, which is scheduled for early January.

How do i stop people "guessing" i’m pregnant when i can barely eat with morning sickness, feel really tired, and won’t be drinking.

How can i act "normal" ?

If you’re starting to develop a bump already wear something a little baggy. Just something non-form fitting, you don’t want to make it seem like you’re *trying* to hide something.

Do you live in a place where it’s cold/snowing a lot? You could always tell people you think you’re coming down with a cold. Or starting to get over one. That could explain the lack of appetite. And people tend to feel tired when they’re sick.

And mixing alcohol while sick is never strongly recommended.
